Intersecting passions

I’ve been riding motorcycles all my life; to the point where I can no longer recall the memory of learning it. It’s just part of who I am.

When it comes to photography, I still vividly remember how terrible I was at it when I started. Unbothered, I pressed forward and studied and hoped that someday, good moments and lighting and composition would reveal themselves to me. Some days they do. Most days they don’t.

Almost two decades ago I started to photograph motorcycles at a shop for their budding Instagram as trade for working on my bike. I found inspiration from other motorcycle photographers and continued to press forward through shutter clicks, most of which were disappointing.

After many years, eventually I got to the point where disappointment was more of a surprise. I’ve since found a balance at the intersection of my two hobbies that I didn’t expect. And here is where I share it with you.
